Term 3 Assessment task

This term we have to write 800 word esay on a topic we independantly research (task1). the second task we have to do for this assignent is to work in pairs, my partner is Emily Taylor. in paris we have to prepare, present and package a pasta meal suitable for sale to a targeted group.

possible subject topics for my essay:
- liquid paperboard vs. plastic milk bottles
- recycling food packaging solutions ideas
- Genetic modifided food vs. organic food
-additives and perservatives
- new technologies fight against food (diseases samonella, campylobacter)

I am really thinking about either doing new technolgies against food diseases or additives and perservatives. I have found 3 articles/websites for food bourne dieases and technogies. for food perservatives i have so far found 2 books sources and 1 websites. Currently i am just highlighting and starting to compile my notes slowly.

Lesson Reflection 07/03/11

Today i Did:
- I looked over assignment cover sheet and highlighted key tasks, so that i could get more of an understanding and grasp of what to do.
-I looked up some lifestyle diseases so i could get an idea of which one to pick, which lifestyle disease to investigate (Q.2a)
-I picked Type 2 diabetes to investigate, because there is a lot of information, it is a common lifestyle disease and it a some differences in a diabetic diet compared to a normal diet.
-I looked up a few notes to make sure i knew what Type 2 diabetes is and some information about it.
- I think i have found some good info to help me write question 2a).But i think i still need to identify some more circumstances which may a person would require special diet needs, i wil ask the teacher how many crcumstances we need to do.
